Sell My Car Pro FAQs

Selling Your Car

Why use Sell My Car Pro instead of selling privately?

Private selling often involves:

  • Time-wasting enquiries
  • No-shows
  • Price haggling
  • Safety concerns
  • Delays with payment
  • Advertising costs

Sell My Car Pro offers a faster and simpler alternative.

We consider a wide range of vehicles, including:

  • Cars
  • Utes
  • 4WDs
  • SUVs
  • Vans
  • Commercial vehicles
  • Older vehicles
  • High kilometre vehicles

Damaged or non-running vehicles (subject to assessment)

Yes, Sell My Car Pro may consider damaged, accident-affected, or mechanically faulty vehicles depending on the extent of the issues.

Yes, unregistered vehicles may still be considered depending on condition and suitability.

High kilometre vehicles are still considered. Condition, service history, and overall desirability often matter as much as odometer reading.

Yes, vehicles with finance owing can often still be sold. The payout amount usually needs to be confirmed or paid directly to the financier so the finance can be finalised correctly as part of the transaction.

Usually helpful documents and items include:

  • Driver’s licence
  • Registration papers
  • Finance payout letter (if applicable)
  • Service records
  • Spare keys

That is fine. Many people request a quote first to understand what their vehicle may be worth before making a final decision.

If you’re purchasing a new car we can lock in a price for your existing vehicle and arrange pickup once your new car arrives.

Car Valuation

How do I get a price for my car?

Complete the online enquiry form with details such as make, model, year, kilometres, condition, and location. The more accurate the information, the more accurate the offer can be.

Vehicle values are typically based on:

  • Make, model, and year
  • Kilometres
  • Mechanical and cosmetic condition
  • Service history
  • Market demand
  • Registration status
  • Current wholesale and retail market trends

No. Requesting a quote does not lock you into selling. You are free to accept or decline any offer.

Yes. Many customers use our valuation process to understand what their vehicle may be worth before making a final decision.

Sell My Car Pro is Perth-based, but service areas may extend beyond the metro area depending on the vehicle and circumstances.

Our Process

How does Sell My Car Pro work?

Submit your vehicle details online, receive an offer or buying interest, and if everything suits, arrange inspection, payment, and collection. It is designed to make selling a car straightforward.

Many vehicles can be assessed quickly, with fast turnaround depending on demand, documentation, and vehicle condition. Some sales may be completed the same day or within 24 hours.

This depends on the vehicle and location. In many cases, inspections can be arranged conveniently where the car is located, and collection options may be available.

Payment is typically arranged securely, commonly by bank transfer, or cash once the sale has been agreed and documentation completed.

Sell My Car Pro can assist with the required transfer paperwork and sale process to make things straightforward.

Absolutely. Trade-ins are a common option especially in cases of mechanical failure. We’ll look at the buying structure and stock availability and find an option for you.

Sell My Car Pro combines automotive buying experience with a straightforward process designed for Perth vehicle owners who want a fair price without the usual stress of selling privately.
